I'm sorry you did not get to do the things you had planned, but I'm betting this will be a trip you will remember forever and tell your grandchildren about for years :*)Teresa in Music Cityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15650995129191593324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27934479.post-86418712519098609542012-03-30T21:09:10.880-04:002012-03-30T21:09:10.880-04:00Can't believe you drove all the way to CA and ...Can't believe you drove all the way to CA and didn't get to see your destination. There was still snow and it was about 30 degrees til you got to the lower elevations. My son lives in that area and you were smart not to mess with Mother Nature, she needs to be taken seriously. You just happened to hit their only good snowstorm all year.McIrish Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04636354235693444855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27934479.post-18872580636008424892012-03-27T20:42:28.825-04:002012-03-27T20:42:28.825-04:00So sorry to hear you didn't get to Yosemite or...So sorry to hear you didn't get to Yosemite or the Grand Canyon. You did well finding the beauty and entertainment in what can be ordinary. I'm glad you made it home safely. I someday hope to get enough road experience I won't be nervous on strange roads. I can understand you not wanting to be on them in bad weather.
