Neopolitan Delight...

That is the name I'm thinking of for my gratitude quilt. It reminds me of Neopolitan ice cream with the three flavors: vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. Actually, these pinks make me think a little of Cherry Garcia. (can you tell I've been dieting for the last 6 months?) Many of these fabrics were earmarked for another quilt and all were just FQs. I was able to do all the little patches and still have enough from each FQ that I can still use them much as originally planned. Anyway, after the last two hour-a-day-quilts with their very brown/tan/gold/orange colors, the change of pace was fun. While I worried about how some of these pinks would go together, I love the way it looks. AND....no calories!

All the fabrics are perfect together - and so is the name. I love it! Remember, all shades, values, tints and tones of any color always go together. That's what makes the most interesting monochromatic color scheme. The more different pinks, blues, greens, reds, browns, oranges, yellows, or whatevers you have the more interesting the quilt!

Great name for a great looking quilt. It makes my stomach growl though to think of neopolitan ice cream - a treat I haven't had in years.

Oh, it does remind one of that ice cream! Yes, I think I can tell you've been dieting. Is it working for you? Your quilt is lovely. It's the most complete one I've seen so far, so you must be staying right on target.

I love it - I'd considered doing the Gratitude quilt in pinks and browns but ... lol
I have a huge pile of pink and brown fat quarters and such but can't settle on a pattern.

Yours is beautiful.
