This weekend I was able to finish my Jo Morton log cabin, which is about 15 inches square. As

Secondly, for all you cat lovers out there.........My mother has an ancient and venerable Siamese cat that spends its waking hours curled up on her lap. Because it will knead her lap, sometimes with claws out, mother sits with a towel folded up between her legs and the cat. With Amy and Nancy (among others) showing off their cat fabrics, I was inspired to check out what my LQS had. I found a very bright and fun print which I then stitched a batting, sewed and 'birthed' and then quilted some kitty faces randomly spaced. Mom is tickled with it.
I'm tickled to have had time to quilt this weekend. Rainy weekends can be wonderful, if you can lock yourself up with your fabric and machines!

They all look great! I think you're being too hard on yourself, the quilt and quilting look great! I know your mom and her kitty will love the new lap quilt.

I think that log cabin cutie just turned out great! I've got to get on the miniature train. I have a great spot on my wall for one.
I used to have a cat that would do the same thing. She was such a great prrrrer.
I love the kitty quilt. It is so cute!
your cat quilt is a wonderufl idea. I love the little quilted kitty faces peering out too...
I love that cat fabric! The log cabin quilt is a cutie!
that's a cute fabric, my Mom made a 4 patch quilt fussy cutting those cats that I quilted for her -it turned out really cute.
Wow, your Jo Mortons look GREAT! I love her small quilts and took the Jo's Little Women Club last winter at my LQS--loads of fun. Your kitty mat is adorable and should save your mamma's lap!! My cats do the same thing---knead like there's no tomorrow.
Love the kitty quilt... Mine each have one made out fo kitty fleece... not that they use them. I love kneady kitties - mine don't do much kneading...
Three finishes.... You go girl.
Loved the log cabin......
I don't see where eiter of them are off. You did a great job! Love those colors in the logcabin!!! Do you plan to use it as a table topper this fall? ~Bonnie
Gail you have been busy. Both of these are very nice. At first, I thought the cats was the backs of one of these quilts. Its nice too, but I'm glad it's not. :)
What we won't do for our kitties. I think your Log Cabin is very beautiful with its deep cheddar and rust colors.
LOVe that log cabin! JudyL is right- you're being way too hard on yourself!
Love your log cabin cutie!
Working my way through the Stash Quilts Ring just to say Hi.
Your little Jo Morton is darling! I love the movement that the quilting gives it, and the alternation of the blocks.
What a great idea for the cat kneading blanket!
I want to see a picture, with the cat, your mom, and the new little kitty quilt between them... :)
